Little Willy
Lead vocals

Hi, I'm Little Willy! I am lead singer and creator of a talented, professional, and very entertaining group of musicians called "The Twerps". I have had a blast with this band and it is something worth seeing. Lots of energy and crowd participation. Music is a big part of my life and I love to make people smile. I grew up in Red Wing, MN on the banks of the Mississippi River. I have been singing in front of crowds since I was eight years old. In school, I was in choir and always had the lead vocal part. My favorite music is anything that is playing on the radio. My favorite hobby is to make people smile and laugh. Over the years, I performed with many different groups before I decided to move and settle in Chetek, WI. A few years back my wife and I bought a little piece of paradise called Lazy Acres Resort. It was there that I decided to form that band that became "The Twerps". Now I spend my time not only performing with the band but managing our resort as well. I would like to thank my wife, mother, and father in law for their support.

Lead vocals

Hello! I am Shortcake. (Nicknamed for obvious reasons!) I am a lead vocalist and play a mad tambourine in The Twerps. I have been in the band for over a year and a half now. I have loved every minute of it, especially thanks to YOU, the fans! Singing has been an important part of my life. I started when I was 2 years old. I was in my school's choir and went to state for solo & ensemble my freshman year in high school. Although this is my first actual band experience, I have learned quite a bit about entertainment from my fellow Twerpmates. I like to listen to and sing a variety of music. When I'm not busy rockin' out, I work in a senior assisted living home. I am also currently attending my second year in college for nuclear medicine technology. In my free time I enjoy writing songs, trying new things, meeting new people, and trying to learn guitar! So keep your dancing shoes on, get a little silly, and bring some friends. I love it when you all dance and sing along with me! Thank you all for your support!

Bass guitar, vocals

Hey Twerpies, I'm JT. I've been playing with the Twerps since January of 2010. I started playing bass when I was 12 and haven't stopped since. I've also picked up a couple of other instruments along the way. I have been heavily influenced by punk rock and many different genres of metal, but also bluegrass and country, so my favorite band changes on a weekly basis. I just love music in general. In high school, I studied music theory and participated in choir for 4 years.
I was married in July of 2003 and have had 3 children. My family and I now reside in the booming town of Haugen, WI where I am a volunteer firefighter and first responder. I enjoy teaching my children about music and developing in them an appreciation for it. I'm keepin it real by slappin' and grabbin like nobody's business!

Hey, I'm Irvy! I'm the mad professor rockin' away on the keyboards. I currently reside in Richfield, Minnesota and have been a musician for most of my life. I enjoy using my powers of invincibility to play rock n' roll all night long! I began playing in bands during high school and soon found that music was my calling. Ever since I have been a working musician, performing in various groups throughout the Twin Cities. I first was a bass player until I decided to take up the keys. I joined The Twerps as keyboard player when the band was formed a few years back. Growing up I was influenced by music from the 70's and 80's. I enjoy groups like Led Zepplin, Genesis, pretty much any classic rock band. When not playing music, I can be found working around the house on odd jobs or hanging out at my hobby farm. I also like to spend time with my son. Come check out the Twerps and getting ready for a groovy time!

Buddy has been playing in area bands for over 15 years. Growing up in Eau Claire, WI, he saw his first action with the oldies group "Two Way Street" when he was 14. Later, Buddy played with a local blues band and a rockabilly show band before joinning the Twerps in 2007. Buddy is influenced by the music of the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's, which is present in his drumming style. When not playing music, Buddy enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and most of all, being with his wife. Besides being a Twerp, he also works as a substitute teacher and private drum instructor.
